Unseen: The Trafficked Truth

At Unseen: The Trafficking Truth pod, we will uncover true sex trafficking crime stories. You will get a chance to hear from survivors themselves and other stories of commercially sexually exploited victims that never made it to headlines. We hope to raise awareness, uncover truths through voices unheard, and provide education to skeptics or nonbelievers of this growing epidemic especially for out people of color. 

A safe space for the Black community to discuss topics related to us and the world without outside opinion.   

This pod was created to shed light on issues that plague our community but also promote black excellence and create a platform for folks who identify as Black to share their stories.  

In life, people often take walks.  While walking, you may smell the roses or take in the scenery, all while getting to know one another over a conversation and form a bond that includes lasting memories. Walk with me and let me tell you how I got here. 

A space we created to freely, and safely discuss black girl and womanhood. Our pod wants promote the coming of age stories of black girlhood as the standard, not the alternative. In each episode we unpack the things we celebrate, hide, brag and shame in the name of being black.   

A pod that explores "scars" of all sorts. We discuss the impact physical, mental, and emotional "scars" have had on our guests while traversing the pitfalls and examining the life lessons they have gained due to their experience with their scars.   

Every Monday we amplify the voices and stories of black women and share our narrative of personal and professional transformation. We build community and culture through honest dialogue, share our lessons, and celebrate our successes.

Dissecting all the confusing feelings and emotions gen z and millennials go through. Breaking down the differences we have from the gen x and trying to bridge that gap. No judgement, no fear!

A pod started by the host, Derrick Franklin and it’s about his journey and experiences he’s had being a young black man in America. D-Frank talks about his many life experiences stemming from his military days, racial and social injustices going on on in the black community, and you may even get some laughs from some of my crazy life stories.

1SAF is a channel that strives to reveal the “living reality” and experiences as a person of colour (especially in western society). 1SAF wants to help, protect, educate and make ALL generations conscious, encompassing and discerning Black Empowerment.

Hennessy in a Teacup is reflective of women who are strong and confident, discussing their ideals in an open honest way. We'll tackle all types of relationships, spirituality & wellness and generational baggage along with our pasts.  

The Black Boy Blitz Pod is about amplifying the voices of Black/Brown men. You will hear the lived experiences of an array of men, and what makes them who they are today. We delve deep into the complexities of who we are and keeps us ticking. We discuss male-hood, masculinity, sexuality, religion, mysticism and all that's in between in multiple different formats.  

We highlight trailblazers who study African languages or promote the diaspora in their personal or professional lives. We are on a mission to introduce our youth to African languages to spark interest in cross cultural immersion early on. Join us for inspirational stories bi-weekly on Thursdays! 

The Flipside Pod features topics and sparks conversations about how people are more than the labels or categories that we put them. Listen as guest join in to tell their story about overcoming the stereotypes and proving that we're all more than what society tell us we should be.

I created a pod whose focus touches on personal stories that have led people to a moment where they need to express a complex thought. I want to bring to the world real connected stories, intricate stories and the many facets of things we've all wanted to say, can't say, won't say or at times hear from others but can't receive.

In an attempt to understand what the hell is going on in America, Savannah and Donald (two self proclaimed N*ggas With Attitudes and degrees) embark on a quest to connect the dots between past and present. Through research, data and shade, The Black Codes aims to look at the present state of America through an often overlooked lens, her actual/factual relationship with her Black citizens.
